Shoot For Excellence!

I guess it must be close to report-card time. I have been so proud to learn that many of my piano
students are also 4.0 students. I am so privileged to work with such "cream of the crop" young
people!

I have been told by one of my daughters that in her growing-up years she remembers very few family rules, but a sense of high expectations. I hope all of my children knew that I wished
for them to do their very best, so that they could experience the good feeling that comes from
working hard and finding personal success! I never wanted them to feel that if they weren't
the best at everything that they had no value. We are all so different and it sometimes takes
a good part of our life to find out what our strengths and gifts are. If we just work hard, and
give great effort to the thing we undertake, we can feel great satisfaction!

I am just honored to be associated with great people both within and without my family circle!
I tip my hat to you all!!

Ground Hog Day

Today is just frigid!! I bet it's about six degrees out there. Because of this cold, cold weather, and the light breeze, everyone is just freezing. Therefore, I do hope that the Ground
Hog does NOT see his shadow!! We don't need six more weeks of winter - enough, already!!

Just heard that Julie got Straight A's!! Wow!! Terrific news!! That takes a lot of effort, so I'm really proud of her! And Erin won her school's Reflections in Music; great accomplishment
there, too.

Can't wait to see Greg play his last basketball game on Friday. Hope he'll make a basket for me!

Jenna gets baptised on Saturday; what a fun-filled, busy life we lead. Gotta love it!! :-)
