Christmas
Wow! I am still speechless over Christmas Eve....we were surprised "big time" by all of our children!!! We were blessed with a HD flat screen TV and a beautiful console that I inadvertently picked out myself. Sherry took me to RC Willey about 10 weeks ago so that SHE could look at TV's and all. I thought I'd like a cute entertainment center, but both Sherry and I picked out the same black console...she liked the 10" taller one. I just cannot believe the kids all sacrificed and planned and kept the secret so long. We are so very, very grateful for the gift...and for the gift of special, loving children!!

Greetings! I tried to customize my blog's background by myself, but I guess I need help....and I was doing so well, too!
Katie reserved tickets to "Good Things Utah" for last Friday. What fun! Mike called in and surprised her by having her birthday (next Tuesday) announced! She was surprised, that's for sure...:-) Luckily, we arrived home safely before a big winter storm arrived!
I have been handing out little gifts to my piano students this week. I chose a little penguin basket and put in a couple of packs of gum and a half dozen peppermint balls. Everyone seemed very pleased. I do have some special students. I hope I can teach until I take my last breath!
Tomorrow is the Ward Christmas Program; we had a "dress rehearsal" today by singing at a local care center for seniors. We did well, and the sweet older folks seemed to love it. I sure hope tomorrow goes as well. We are singing an original song, written by John: "In A Manger". Only three songs total, and by noon we can all relax.
I just had a thought: only two more Sundays of the early schedule...then we go to the 11-2 schedule. That will be nice.

Well, here it is - another day. I just figured out how to place another posting. Don't laugh...I'm slow at this computer stuff.
We had a lovely Thanksgiving at Sherry's. Monday evening we had Mike's family to dinner...."Wienie Boats"...for a Christmas Picnic. Lots of fun.
Today, I had Erin for piano. I was so proud of her duet at Sherry's: "Bear Hug"!
